DARCARS Automotive Group is now hiring Car Sales Consultants to join our team!
*BILINGUAL PREFERRED (Spanish/English)*

As a Car Sales Consultant, you are directly responsible for selling used cars, providing our customers with the highest level of customer service and satisfaction, and achieving DARCARS sales goals. The Car Sales Consultant will interact directly with customers in person and virtually, other Sales Consultants, Sales Managers, Finance Managers, and the General Manager of the dealership. This is a non-supervisory, commission-based position.

In this role, you will:
  • Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner
  • Follow DARCARS approach to selling:
    • Greet customers with a welcoming attitude and listen to their needs
    • Describe operations and features of vehicles matching customer’s needs
    • Follow DARCARS test drive procedures
    • Suggest optional equipment, features, warranties for customer to purchase
    • Correctly compute and quote sales price
    • Work with finance team to obtain financing, as needed
    • Complete all necessary paperwork
    • Arrange for delivery and registration of the vehicle
    • Address all customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain solid knowledge of brands and products
  • Make an effective demonstration ride on a planned route
  • Develop and maintain future prospect and customer follow-up system
  • Participate in all required brand and DARCARS training
  • Utilize online digital retailing selling tools
  • Use video tools to assist customers virtually with the car buying process
  • Develop personal income goals consistent with DARCARS standards
  • Comply with DARCARS policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills with both customers and DARCARS employees
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Bilingual Preferred
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform normal job functions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable safe driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Pass pre-employment screen (background)
