Job summary

GLS North America powers the behind-the-scenes operations of the automotive industry. As a Pre-Prep Technician, you will report to dispatch to receive vehicle packets, pick up a packet, check fuel, run through the on-site car wash, and prepare vehicles for detailing in the designated bays.

You will stage vehicles for PDI/LPO Technicians, report any defects, assist with vehicle movement, handle license plates, and ensure clean, fueled vehicles while upholding our DRIVEN values and service

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Must have exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Must be a reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Staging completed vehicles in the designated staging area for PDI and LPO Technicians.
• Alert the Service Supervisor if defects or damage are found on any of the vehicles while being cleaned.
• Assist the Service Department with vehicle movement on- or off-site as needed.
• Assist with license plate removal or installation.
• Clean vehicles, check fuel and top off fuel if needed.
• Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
