Job summary

Byers Car Rentals LLC, a Hertz licensee, is seeking a Car Prep Personnel at our Columbus HLE location. You will prepare rental vehicles to be clean, safe, and ready for customers.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, outdoors in various weather conditions. We offer competitive benefits and room for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental vehicles to be clean, safe, and ready for customer pickup.
• Clean and detail interiors and exteriors (windows, jambs, trunks, vacuuming, washing).
• Check for damage and report issues to management.
• Check vehicle features and ensure proper function.
• Refuel and check fluid levels as needed.
• Move and park vehicles safely around the lot and between locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors, including windows, door jambs, trunks, vacuuming, washing, and removing bugs and debris
• Check vehicles for damage and report any issues to management
• Check vehicle features and ensure they are functioning properly
• Refuel vehicles and check fluid levels as needed
• Move and park vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the lot and between locations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow company safety policies and procedures
