Job summary

Price Simms Family Dealerships is seeking a Lot Porter to perform non-mechanical services, move vehicles, and support Sales and Service in maintaining the lot and inventory. The role requires safe, timely completion of tasks and coordination with multiple departments.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with possible evenings, weekends, and holiday work. Base responsibilities include maintaining vehicle appearance, tagging, and occasional dealership-to-dealership vehicle transfers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of porter experience (preferred).
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Parks vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction of Sales to ensure that the lot is attractive to potential buyers.
• Clean and maintain entire lot for new, used and service departments.
• Assist Sales and Service Staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operations.
• Ensures cleanliness of all vehicles.
• Responsible for adding and maintaining key tags and window stickers on all lot vehicles.
• Drives vehicles to other dealerships for 'dealer swaps' or to other vendors as requested.
• May pick-up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles.
