Job summary

HNS Recovery is seeking an Automotive Locksmith Technician to join a fast-paced, multi-lot team in Texas. You will maintain equipment, process work orders, and perform key cutting and programming across assigned lots using Lishi tools.

Expect a dynamic, hands-on role with customer-facing duties and strict policy adherence. Requirements include 25+ years old, 2 years locksmithing, a high-school diploma, a valid Texas license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass screenings.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years locksmithing experience.
Must be at least 25 years old.
High-school diploma or equivalent.
Punctual, responsible, detail-oriented and a team player.
Valid Texas driver's license with no suspensions in the last two years.
Reliable transportation and ability to pass pre-employment screening and drug testing.
Able to thrive in a multi-cultural environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Maintain all Customer and Company policies and procedures to meet compliance.
Keep equipment and inventory in the assigned company vehicle.
Accurately submit photos, invoices, and work orders into the invoicing system promptly.
Use Lishi tools to decode locks and cut/program new vehicle keys.

HNS Recovery is an equal opportunity employer seeking driven and experienced professionals to join us in a fast-paced, casual, and fun environment as we expand throughout Texas.

We have lots in: Fort Worth, Duncanville, Balch Springs, McKinney where you will be assigned to one lot. We will provide a company van with equipment to work on the vehicles in your assigned lot. Once you have completed your keys, you would then drive to another lot to help production of the keys.

As an Automotive Locksmith Technician on our team,

You:

Are at least 25 years of age
Have a high-school diploma or equivalent
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience Locksmithing
Are punctual and responsible
Are detail-oriented and a team player
Are motivated and can work without constant supervision
Are organized and driven to meet deadlines
Have a valid Texas Driver’s license without a suspension in the last two years
Have reliable transportation
Have a clean background
Can pass pre-employment screening and unannounced drug screening throughout your employment
Can thrive in a multi-cultural and multi-generational environment

You should:

Have knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication and transponder programming
Have ignition removal experience
Have 1 -2 years lishing experience
Have all keys lost experience
Have basic computer experience and typing skills
Have a smartphone with a good quality camera
Be an excellent communicator (verbal and written)
Be comfortable using various technologies (phones, tablets, computers, cameras etc.)

The Job:
