Job summary

PHI Health in Manassas, VA is seeking an experienced Lead Pilot for 24‑hour helicopter air medical operations. You will supervise a staff of pilots, ensure FAA compliance, and coordinate with base management to maintain efficient EMS operations.

The successful candidate will hold Commercial and Instrument helicopter ratings, First Class Medical, and CAMTS requirements, with a strong track record in safety and team leadership. A relocation package may be available.

Qualifications

• Commercial helicopter pilot experience with instrument rating.
• First Class Medical required.
• CAMTS accreditation or requirement demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Lead pilot duties under supervision of base leadership and ensure staffing for various aircraft.
• Coordinate with base leadership for scheduling, safety, and compliance.
• Oversee pilot development, assessments, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure timely paperwork, regulatory compliance, and safety audits.
• Cover open shifts when necessary and manage monthly schedules.
