Job summary

Engramec is seeking a motivated Encapsulation Machine Operator to support capsule manufacturing in a GMP-regulated production environment. You will operate encapsulation machines, monitor performance, adjust settings, and perform in-process inspections to ensure quality and efficiency.

The role requires reading SOPs and work orders, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will collaborate with QA, Maintenance, and Production, document batch records, and participate in training

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating encapsulation or manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, work orders, and production instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• PPE required while working in production areas.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate encapsulation machines according to production schedules and work orders.
• Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production targets.
• Perform in-process inspections including capsule weight, appearance, and consistency checks.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on encapsulation equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate major repairs when necessary.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Follow GMP, SOP, and safety procedures at all times.
• Complete production logs, batch records, and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the encapsulation area.
• Identify and report product defects, deviations, or equipment concerns immediately.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production teams.
• Communicate effectively during shift changes to ensure production continuity.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
