Job summary

Cal State LA is seeking a non-tenure-track CAPS Faculty Counselor to provide clinical services, crisis intervention, and outreach within the CAPS department. The role requires leadership in coordinating care for diverse student populations and collaboration with the SHC and Athletics.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in behavioral sciences, counseling, psychology or related field.
• Current California license as MFT/LSW/LPCC or Psychologist is required.
• Experience leading, coordinating and providing counseling services to a diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of clinical counseling, crisis intervention and outreach services.
• Train and supervise Masters Practicum Trainees and post-graduate programs.
• Maintain timely documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
