Job summary

The position requires a terminal degree and California licensure, with preference for experience in college settings and supervision of trainees.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree from an accredited university.
• Current California license as LMFT/LPCC/LCSW/Psychologist.
• Leadership ability and skills in brief psychotherapy, crisis intervention, consultation, workshops/group psychotherapy, and outreach.
• Experience providing and coordinating individual, couples, and group counseling independently for diverse clients.
• Evidence of clinical leadership for assessing and treating a broad spectrum of psychological issues.
• Experience with interventions and clinical case management for high-risk clients.
• Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds and cultures.
• Ability to train and supervise other professionals and trainees.

Responsibilities

• Clinical duties: full range of mental health assessment, counseling, psychotherapy, and case management; crisis intervention; tele-therapy; referrals.
• Training: onboarding new counselors and supervising practicum trainees; developing traineeships in groups, workshops, and individual treatment.
• Administrative duties: timely documentation, data collection, reporting, and collaboration with Athletics for clearances.
