Kraft Heinz in Granite City seeks an hourly manufacturing lead to coordinate daily department activities under supervision. You’ll drive problem solving, manage coverage, and support KHMS, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency across shifts.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining records, and leading improvements. Ability to lift 40 lbs, be forklift-certified, and cross-train in multiple roles is expected.

Qualifications

• Able to work well in a team environment with all associates.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Coaching, motivating, and reporting performance issues to management.
• Understanding documentation requirements and accuracy.
• Demonstrated leadership, positive attitude, and strong communication.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and problem-solving abilities is essential.
• Willing to learn basics of secondary operator, palletizer operator, and material handler.
• Proficient with Outlook and Excel; familiarity with ZPI and HR timekeeping systems.

Responsabilités

• Take leadership in routine production problem solving.
• Coordinate cleaning programs and monthly checks.
• Ensure proper employee coverage and follow overtime policy.
• Lead daily problem solving, 30/60/90 day shift plans, and operator upskilling.
• Explain deviations and line checks; train crews on changes.
• Maintain sanitation, equipment inspection, and accurate records.
• Support KHMS initiatives and safety goals; drive continuous improvement.
• Communicate across shifts and departments and assist with new associate training.
