Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a general production worker to operate a bottle capping line, handle hopper duties, and support material flow on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, adhering to GMP, recording data, and occasional heavy lifting. Must be 18+, able to pass a drug test and background check, and able to work a flexible schedule. English speaking/writing required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and change over a bottle capping machine and hopper.
• Operate a forklift and supply operators with materials for their machines.
• Perform record keeping as required.
• Follow the production schedule and multi-task as needed.
• Assist with heavy lifting and palletizing as required.

Job description

General Job Dusties:

This individual will be operating and changing over a bottle capping machine and preform Hopper. This individual will also be operating a forklift and supplying operators with materials for their specific machines. Must be able to multi-task, take direction, and follow a production schedule. Some lifting of up to sixty pounds will be required, must be able to sit, stand crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods of time. Some record keeping is required.

Must be able to lift heavy items as there is some manual stacking and palletizing.

This person must be self motivated, detail oriented, able to speak and write in English and willing to be flexible as to their schedule. Must be honest and hard working. There will be a drug test and background check.
