Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America seeks a skilled operator to manage the operation and sanitation of a KHS wrap around and shrink packer and related equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will operate conveyors, perform adjustments, pull and test production samples, monitor product quality, log PET bottle integrity tests, and verify coding for time/date/product specs while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 90 lbs and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with assembly line processes.
• Ability to keep up with rapid pace production.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 90 lbs.) and manual stacking of corrugated materials.
• Ability to write and document information accurately and thoroughly in English.
• Some hand tool and mechanical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate and sanitize KHS wrap around and shrink packer and related equipment.
• Adjust machinery and conveyors; perform production sample pulls and testing.
• Monitor product quality and log PET bottle integrity tests.
• Verify codes for time, date and product specifications.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Be self-motivated, detail oriented, and flexible with schedule.
