Job summary

Cybersecurity Training is seeking a knowledgeable CAPM Instructor to deliver PMI-aligned training and prepare students to pass the CAPM exam. You will build practical project management skills applicable to real-world environments and mentor a diverse group of learners.

The role involves teaching structured CAPM sessions, guiding practice exams, and continuously updating PMI standards knowledge to ensure high-quality instruction.

Qualifications

• CAPM or PMP certification required (PMP strongly preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, PM, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience.
• Prior teaching, training or facilitation experience (in-person or virtual).
• Strong understanding of PMBOK Guide and Agile principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with instructional design or curriculum development.
• Familiarity with PMI ATP standards.
• Ability to engage diverse learners (students, early-career professionals).
• Experience training youth or early-career individuals (ages 16–25).

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured CAPM training sessions based on PMI content.
• Teach core project management concepts (integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risk, procurement, stakeholders).
• Simplify PMBOK concepts into practical lessons.
• Guide students through practice exams, quizzes, and strategies.
• Provide mentorship and individualized support to students.
• Track student progress and adjust teaching methods.
• Incorporate real-world case studies and examples.
• Maintain up-to-date PMI knowledge and certification changes.
• Collaborate with program staff to improve curriculum and outcomes.
