We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging CAPM Instructor to deliver high-quality training aligned with the Project Management Institute (PMI) standards. The instructor will prepare students and professionals to successfully pass the CAPM certification exam while building practical project management skills applicable in real-world environments.
Train small groups of 4-12 young adults project management and coach them from start to CAPM certification !
Role Qualifications:
- CAPM or PMP certification (PMP strongly preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience
- Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience (in-person or virtual)
- Strong understanding of PMBOK Guide and Agile principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to engage diverse learners (students, early-career professionals, etc.)
- Experience training youth or early-career individuals (ages 16–25)
- Experience with instructional design or curriculum development
- Familiarity with PMI ATP (Authorized Training Partner) standards
- Experience with trauma-informed approaches a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured CAPM training sessions based on the latest PMI Exam Content Outline
- Teach core project management concepts, including: Project integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communication, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management
- Simplify complex PMBOK concepts into practical, easy-to-understand lessons
- Guide students through practice exams, quizzes, and exam strategies
- Provide mentorship and individualized support to students
- Track student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Incorporate real-world case studies and examples into instruction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PMI standards and certification changes
- Collaborate with program staff to improve curriculum and student outcomes
