State of Oregon is seeking a part-time Senate Receptionist to support daily chamber operations for the 2027 Regular Session in Salem. The role serves as the primary contact for visitors to the Senate chamber and requires on-site presence.

The position is limited duration (Jan 6, 2027 to Jun 27, 2027) with a roughly 9:00 am–1:00 pm, Monday–Friday schedule and potential hours flexibility. Remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Previous reception work is preferred or related experience.
• On-site work in Salem, Oregon is required.
• Flexibility with hours including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Greets and assists the general public and visitors to the Senate chamber.
• Ctrl ingress/egress during floor sessions in collaboration with Senate staff.
• Enforce decorum rules per Senate Rules.
• Maintain daily reports and make them available to the public.
