Capitol Police Officers provide various police services, requiring knowledge of the Pennsylvania Crimes Code, Vehicle Code, and Rules of Criminal Procedure. Responsibilities include exercising arrest powers, using physical force, conducting patrols, investigations, crowd control, and dealing with verbal abuse and threats. You will also provide building security, complete reports, maintain certifications, and perform physical duties such as running and climbing under various weather conditions.
