Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a Capital Portfolio Analyst to join the Pennsylvania Capital Portfolio team.

This onsite role supports Operations and Engineering by prioritizing capital projects and ensuring plans align with regulatory and financial targets. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–4 years of project management experience; strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office and project tools are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Construction Management or related discipline and 2–4 years' related work experience.
• Proven project management abilities with exceptional time management and multi-tasking.
• Knowledge of NESC and NEC, CGES.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication; analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Planning strategically for multi-year capital portfolio to meet state goals and financial targets.
• Engaging project sponsors in development of detailed scopes and end-to-end management.
• Overseeing project financials; identifying risks and escalating issues as needed.
• Developing scorecards and reporting for approved financial commitments.
