Job summary

Kurita Europe GmbH in New York is seeking a Production Controller to manage business performance for a microelectronics capital project. You will build and visualize project schedules, track milestones, and forecast revenue and profits to support timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or four-year degree in Engineering or Business.
• Two years project management experience in an industrial application.
• Expertise with project management software tools for scheduling and budgeting.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and finance related to projects.
• Strong organization and project management skills.
• Good time management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks & priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and visualize project schedules using software tools based on proactively gathered production data.
• Track project milestones, business performance, and capital project workflows to ensure alignment with goals.
• Spot schedule delays, procurement roadblocks, and financial bottlenecks well in advance.
• Report problems to management immediately and collaborate with project members to implement solutions.
• Oversee capital project execution to meet scheduled timelines, scope, and target revenue/profits.
• Establish monthly revenue, profit, and cash flow forecasts while proposing countermeasures for any variances.
• Maintain a strong understanding of corporate accounting, finance principles, and revenue recognition guidelines.
• Evaluate and approve supplier acceptances accurately and timely without causing payment delays.
• Partner with Sales and Application Engineering (AE) to define terms, conditions, and delivery scopes.
• Monitor the status of all project purchasing, contract conditions, and supplier payment terms.
• Drive timely project closeouts based on completed progress and operational milestones.
• Handle budgets, actuals, and system inputs (NAV) while efficiently utilizing administrative support.
