Job summary

Kurita is seeking a Production Controller in Brooklyn Park, MN to manage capital project performance and ensure robust operation of this business segment. The role focuses on forecasting revenue and profit, identifying issues, and taking timely countermeasures.

The candidate will monitor schedules, costs, and vendor performance, collaborate with Sales and AE, and ensure accurate revenue recognition and financial controls. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or four-year degree in Engineering or Business.
• Two years project management experience in an industrial application.
• Experience with scheduling and budgeting software tools.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and finance related to projects.
• Strong organization and project management skills.
• Good time management with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and visualize project schedules using software tools based on proactively gathered production data.
• Track project milestones, business performance, and capital project workflows to ensure alignment with goals.
• Spot schedule delays, procurement roadblocks, and financial bottlenecks well in advance.
• Report problems to management immediately and collaborate with project members to implement solutions.
• Oversee capital project execution to meet scheduled timelines, scope, and target revenue/profits.
• Establish monthly revenue, profit, and cash flow forecasts while proposing countermeasures for any variances.
• Maintain a strong understanding of corporate accounting, finance principles, and revenue recognition guidelines.
• Evaluate and approve supplier acceptances accurately and timely without causing payment delays.
• Partner with Sales and Application Engineering (AE) to define terms, conditions, and delivery scopes.
• Monitor the status of all project purchasing, contract conditions, and supplier payment terms.
• Drive timely project closeouts based on completed progress and operational milestones.
• Handle budgets, actuals, and system inputs (NAV) while efficiently utilizing administrative support.

Brief Description

The Production controller has the responsibility to manage business performance of microelectronics capital project correctly and properly to operate this business segment robustly. This role can help find the issues on the project in advance and take countermeasures, control acceptance for supplier, ensure the revenue recognition, forecast the revenue/profit, and to grasp the actual result in timely manner.
