Eastman, a global materials company headquartered in Kingsport, Tennessee, seeks a Capital Procurement Manager to lead procurement planning and execution for major capital projects. You will partner with project teams, engineering, and Legal to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance, and secure equipment and services that meet scope, schedule, cost, and safety targets.

The role emphasizes proactive market insight, competitive bidding, and strong commercial judgment to balance

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, supply chain, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, or related experience with ability to manage commercial work and coordinate stakeholders.
• Strong planning, organizational, and negotiation skills with ability to balance cost, schedule, quality, and risk.

Mansioni

• Develop procurement plans for capital projects and document sourcing approaches, supplier strategy, and schedules.
• Translate project scope into procurement packages and coordinate with engineering and project teams.
• Lead sourcing events, coordinate bid packages, evaluate proposals, and negotiate terms with suppliers.
• Monitor procurement risks and work with Legal and Finance to support contracting and payments.
• Identify cost savings and value-improvement opportunities while ensuring compliance and ethics.
