Job summary

RayzeBio, Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Buyer, Procurement to support capital projects for expansion of radiopharmaceutical manufacturing. You will source equipment, materials, and supplies, place and manage purchase orders, and ensure compliance with cGMP and FDA requirements.

This role collaborates with Project Controls, Quality, Legal, and Regulatory teams, maintains SAP/Ariba master data, and identifies cost savings while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of procurement experience in biotech/pharma.
• Experience in procurement, materials management, and supplier relationship management.
• Knowledge of capital project procurement is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiar with cGMP, GDP, and FDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Source and select suppliers for capital projects and direct materials.
• Negotiate prices and terms; support supplier contracts.
• Place and manage purchase orders; coordinate with Project Controls and Finance.
• Ensure purchases are compliant with SOPs and cGMP.
• Maintain SAP/Ariba master data.
• Track supplier performance and report findings.
• Work with Quality, Legal, Regulatory to keep purchases on track.
• Record purchases, pricing, and delivery status in ERP.
• Identify cost savings and drive continuous improvement.
• Leverage AI tools to boost productivity and quality.
