Job summary

Simmons Pet Food is seeking a Process Engineer to supervise contractors and equipment vendors on capital projects, from planning to validation. You will coordinate design and implementation, ensuring equipment meets specifications and budgets.

This is an on-site, salary-exempt role supporting continuous improvement in production. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and have 1+ years of industry experience, with a preference for those familiar with LEAN and capital project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 1+ years related industry experience preferred.
• On-site manufacturing environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital projects from planning through final validation of equipment.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate installation and commissioning for capital projects.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors and technical staff to optimize processes and cost.
• Ensure projects align with approved budget and schedule and maintain Lean practices.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering
