Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Infrastructure Technical Lead. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in a role that directly contributes to our mission of delivering innovative health solutions. Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:

  • Partner with team members and others to produce IT Infrastructure designs & solutions within project schedule and budget constraints.
  • Ensure the digital scope and systems comply with policies, standards, guidelines, and current best practices.
  • Be an advocate and a champion for a digital enabling IT Infrastructure.
  • Collaborate on the development of cost estimates for the IT Infrastructure scope of the projects.
  • Work on building the schedule of activities for the IT Infrastructure scope of the projects.
  • Provide updates in weekly status meetings.
  • Collaborate on the write-up of project phase documentation deliverables (e.g., Basis of Design).
  • Collaborate on the development of systems life cycle documentation.
  • Stay on top of and support construction activities with interdependencies to IT Infrastructure scope, including walkdowns during construction and sign off on the physical IT Infrastructure installation compliance with company standards.
  • Manage purchased hardware inventory.
  • Collaborate on the identification, configuration, and installation of shop floor hardware solutions.
  • Work with partners on the audio visual and security scope of the project.

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • Degree qualification (Science/Computer Science/Engineering/Technical)
  • Extensive team work experience.
  • Physical implementation of IT Infrastructure elements (network hardware, server hardware, computer and telecom rooms, network cabling, etc.).
  • Logical networking.
  • Virtualized computing infrastructure.
  • Strong planning, prioritization & organization skills.
  • Good leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build strong network of colleagues and partners.
  • Proficient in technical writing.
  • Ability to build rapport with a diverse global workforce in a multicultural setting.
