Job summary

Glynn County is seeking a seasoned leader to direct and oversee its infrastructure projects across departments. The role supports the County Engineer/Engineering Director and ensures projects align with budgets and schedules.

The position requires directing staff, coordinating with consultants, and supervising capital programs such as CIP and SPLOST. Strong communication with the Board of Commissioners is essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, coordinate, and oversee Glynn County infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical project management for Capital Projects, CIP program, SPLOST projects.
• Advise Board of Commissioners and County Manager on capital projects and budgets.
• Coordinate bidding and contracting with outside contractors and vendors; oversee negotiations for services.
• Prepare cost estimates, project descriptions, and schedules for proposed projects.
