Job summary

DFA in Kansas City seeks a finance professional to oversee capital spending, fixed assets, and related reporting. You will prepare month-end close supports, develop financial reports, and coordinate with multiple teams across the organization to ensure accurate budgeting and capex planning.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance. CPA is preferred and manufacturing experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related curriculum.
• CPA certification preferred or in process during course of employment.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports for monthly closes and Capital Steering Committee prep calls.
• Lead quarterly CSC meetings and provide updates to leadership.
• Manage fixed asset records, depreciation runs, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting/forecasting and monitor cash flow for strategic projects.
• Collaborate with accounting, projects, and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy.

Education

Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related curriculum
