Job summary

Huber Engineered Woods is seeking a Project Engineer to lead capital projects at the Shuqualak, MS OSB facility. You will drive projects from concept through startup, coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and Quality to ensure safe, on-time, within-budget delivery of process improvements.

You will provide technical support to plant teams, develop scopes and schedules, and manage vendors and construction activities, while upholding safety and regulatory standards across all project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or another related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering and/or capital project experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or process environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects through multiple phases: scoping, budgeting, design, procurement, construction, startup, closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant’s capital investment projects from scoping through closeout, safely and on schedule.
• Provide technical support to Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Management to improve processes and reliability.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and execution plans; manage vendors and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate project outcomes into plant operations.
