Job summary

Huber Engineered Woods (HEW), a division of JM Huber Corporation, seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, test, and implement electrical systems for plant facilities.

You will plan projects from concept through start-up, prepare drawings, and ensure safe, efficient operation while collaborating with maintenance and production teams. A B.S. in Electrical Engineering and about 5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Electrical Engineering experience
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Hands-on approach and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Design and test electrical components, equipment, and systems for plant purposes
• Plan, design, procure, and oversee installation of equipment for approved projects
• Provide electrical engineering support for design, operation and maintenance issues
• Initiate and manage capital and repair projects, including ROI justifications
• Oversee PLC and HMI programming as needed
• Develop project cost estimates and CAD drawings for proposals
• Track construction schedules and coordinate with vendors and contract labor
