Job summary

Aqua Pennsylvania, a leader in the water and wastewater industry, is seeking a motivated Capital Project Engineer to join our team and manage a portfolio of capital improvement projects. The role requires travel across Northeastern Pennsylvania, including overnight site visits, and a mix of office- and field-based work to ensure projects are designed and built to company standards.

Candidates should hold a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, be PE-eligible within 12 months, and have 5+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering required.
• 5+ years of design experience with water and wastewater projects.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Pennsylvania driver's license and availability to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage capital projects for Aqua Pennsylvania's water and wastewater systems.
• Prepare studies, reports, and cost estimates for capital improvement plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Prepare permit applications and manage bidding processes and contract requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, budgets, schedules, and compliance with standards.
