Job summary

Huber Engineered Woods, a division of J.M. Huber Corporation, seeks an experienced engineer to provide technical support for production, maintenance, quality control and management. The role focuses on safety, efficiency and performance of plant processes and equipment.

The position requires a BS in an engineering discipline and 5–7 years hands-on plant experience with vendors and contractors, plus knowledge of process control and automation. On-site work in Commerce, GA is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of plant environment experience with vendors, contractors and other sites.
• Knowledge of process control and automation desirable.
• Familiarity with local and state inspections and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for production, maintenance, quality control, research and management.
• Ensure safety, efficiency, quality and performance of processes, equipment and products.
• Oversee capital investment planning and project execution from planning to implementation.
• Maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate inspections and compliance with authorities having jurisdiction.
• Assist in equipment, vendor and contractor selections for projects and maintenance.
