Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to lead capital projects from concept through execution in a high-speed manufacturing environment. This role manages multiple projects simultaneously, partnering with operations, engineering, maintenance, safety, quality and supply chain to drive improvements that boost throughput and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical) required.
• 5+ years of project engineering in a CPG manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading capital projects from cradle to grave.
• Strong knowledge of packaging/filling technologies and facility operations.
• Familiar with Stage-Gate governance and project methodologies.
• Proficiency with CAD, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint; data tools like Minitab/JMP.
• Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital and process improvement projects from scope to commissioning.
• Manage projects typically $1M-$5M+, including upgrades and line optimization.
• Align with directors and plant leadership on scope, timelines, and success criteria.
• Support equipment selection, installation, and startup for packaging and filling tech.
• Conduct manufacturing assessments to boost throughput and safety and expand facilities.
• Manage budgets, schedules, vendor relationships, FATs, and capex tracking.
• Use data and PM tools to measure performance and KPIs.
• Support continuous improvement via statistical analysis and process optimization.
