Job summary

3M is seeking a Project Engineer to manage project timelines and budgets and lead a cross-functional team across disciplines. The role is on-site in Hutchinson, MN, with travel up to 10% domestically and relocation assistance possible.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science and at least 3 years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, or project management within private, public, government, or military environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
• Three (3) year of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management in a private, public, government or military environment

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines and budgets for assigned projects
• Lead a cross functional team to execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Interact with multiple discipline teams including 3M plant personnel, consultants, and suppliers
• Estimate capital equipment and installation costs
