Job summary

TES Recruiting is partnering with a global industrial manufacturer to hire a Project Engineer for a major facility growth initiative in the Salt Lake City area. You will oversee capital and facility projects from concept to installation, then support construction and equipment installation for two new sites, with potential nationwide and international expansion.

The role requires a mechanical/industrial engineering background and 2+ years in capital projects or manufacturing operations, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related Engineering required.
• 2+ years of engineering experience supporting capital projects, facilities or manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage capital and facility projects from concept through installation, commissioning and closeout.
• Support design and construction of two new manufacturing facilities in the West Jordan area.
• Develop project requirements, scopes, budgets, schedules and status updates with Engineering and Operations leadership.
• Manage equipment vendors, contractors, designers and external project partners.
• Develop facility layouts, equipment drawings and project documentation using CAD tools.
