Job summary

Broward County Transportation Department seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead the Capital Delivery and Infrastructure Maintenance Division. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and six years of related experience, with Florida Driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Public Administration, or related field.
• Six (6) years progressively responsible experience in the development of major public transportation projects and infrastructure, including some supervisory experience.
• Must obtain and possess a valid Florida Driver's License for duration of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design and construction program for the Capital Delivery and Infrastructure Maintenance Division, directing Project Managers.
• Oversees coordination between planning, design, and construction phases of all projects.
• Ensures adherence to schedule, budget, compliance, and quality commitments for major rail and capital projects.
• Prepares annual operating and capital budgets and program plans.
• Develops policy direction for the department's financial function and monitoring.
