Job summary

Carbon Data Solutions seeks a Business Engagement Data Analyst/Programmer to deliver data products for MCP IT/IM, supporting major capital projects and ensuring compliance with project excellence. You will gather requirements, map data sources, and develop tools including Power BI reports, TTO administration, and automation flows.

You will work with MS Power BI, Copilot, and Power Automate to create scalable data solutions, manage data lakes, and support security and governance while coaching

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an analogous data analytics/programming role.
• Proven track record delivering data products and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong ability to source data, assess quality, and map data flows.

Responsibilities

• Engage MCP IT/IM leadership to develop meaningful metrics and updates for platform leaders and capital project stakeholders.
• Evaluate use cases where Power BI provides actionable queries, visuals, and analytics.
• Administer MCP IT/IM utility tool – Transition to Operations (TTO) and manage org segments, projects, SQL rules, and API mappings.
• Support MCP IT/IM team in Azure DevOps for scope and development management.
• Contribute to MCP IT/IM AI initiatives to improve efficiency and business value.
• Assist data mining, aggregation from data lake, and data quality improvements.
• Identify and implement Microsoft Power Automate and Copilot flows to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Escalate data integrity issues and provide training and simple documentation to users.
