POSITION OVERVIEW
The Professional Services Unit of the Engineering Operations Division is seeking a Data Analyst to support data management, reporting, and performance tracking initiatives. This role will focus on analyzing operational, procurement, and project performance data, ensuring data integrity, identifying trends, and delivering meaningful insights that support informed business decisions.
The selected professional will work in a collaborative environment alongside program stakeholders, managers, and leadership teams. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of dashboards, tracking systems, performance metrics, and reporting tools that enhance transparency, accountability, and operational effectiveness across professional services programs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field .
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data analysis, reporting, database management, or a related function .
Experience developing and implementing user-friendly tracking systems.
Experience integrating reporting solutions with Microsoft Office applications.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Experience using reporting and visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
Ability to examine, clean, validate , and transform data from multiple sources.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to prepare clear reports, technical documentation, training materials, and presentations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting task order programs, professional services programs, procurement, contracts, or project controls.
Experience collaborating across departments to collect, validate , and reconcile information.
Experience developing dashboards, performance metrics, and recurring executive reports.
Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience presenting findings, recommendations, and performance reports to senior leadership.
Familiarity with SharePoint Lists, Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, and similar operational data management tools.
