Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a Construction Specialist to lead the execution of capital projects from concept through start-up in alignment with the Marathon Project Management Process (MPMP). This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with MPC standards by collaborating across engineering, operations, project controls, and supply chain.

The position requires managing project performance to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Two-year Engineering Technology degree preferred.
• Three years of related experience and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of projects of varying magnitude and complexity from conception to start-up following the Marathon Project Management Process (MPMP).
• Develops and maintains knowledge of applicable industry and company standards and regulatory requirements; applies it to project design and execution.
• Collaborates with other departments, stakeholders, and vendors to obtain information, permits, and execute projects while managing cost, schedule, and quality.
