Job summary

Ora Apps Inc. in Whippany, NJ (Hybrid) seeks a senior Transformation/Capital Markets PM to lead regulatory, risk and control initiatives across Markets and Risk programs.

You will drive change across global stakeholders, translate business needs into technical requirements, and manage dependencies with Risk Managers, Front Office and Technology teams. Qualifications

• 10+ years of Financial Services industry experience
• Experience in Markets, Risk and Regulatory related projects/programs
• Significant experience in Capital Markets Transformation
• Experience with delivering IMA components (ES, NMRF, RFET, PLAT, etc.)
• Strong Market Risk experience and familiar with HVaR model management
• Experience with FRTB and/or other material front office driven regulatory initiatives
• Experience with derivatives trading, risk and P&L flows
• Strong track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions
• Excellent oral and written communications; articulate with senior stakeholders
• Ability to drive change across a global organization and across perspectives
• Thought leadership in target state design with stakeholder engagement
• Demonstrated analytical skills with problem solving
• Desired: Project Management certifications e.g. PMP or equivalent
• Experience with JIRA and Agile framework

Responsibilities

• Transformation / change management / PM experience focusing on Capital Markets initiatives addressing regulatory, audit, risk and control issues
• Working knowledge of Markets business, products, regulatory capital and Market Risk (VaR) or Credit risk
• Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships across Global Markets front-to-back stakeholders
• Manage multiple stakeholders to derive business requirements and translate into technical requirements
• Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology teams
• Identify challenges and proactively resolve or elevate risk and issues to the projects
• Produce accurate and insightful project update materials for various forums and committees
• Build strong relationships with a joined-up approach to support program execution

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of Financial Services industry experience
• Experience in Markets, Risk and Regulatory related projects/programs

• Experience with delivering IMA (Internal Models Approach) specific components (ES, NMRF, RFET, PLAT, etc.)
• Strong Market Risk experience and familiar with HVaR model management
• Experience with FRTB and/or other material front office driven regulatory initiatives
• Experience with derivatives trading, risk and P&L flows
• Strong & proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions are essential
• Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders
• A solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performance
• Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectives
• Thought leadership in target state design through engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organization
• Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem solving capability
