Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital and expense projects across pipeline, facilities and plants. This onsite role requires independent work, cross-functional collaboration, and driving safety, profitability and reliability initiatives.

You will manage scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination for 10+ simultaneous projects ranging from $100K to $5MM, reporting to the PMO and mentoring junior managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years in Project Management experience.
• 3 years of midstream industry experience.
• Experience in multi-discipline projects across pipeline, terminal, mechanical, piping, electrical, integrity and rotating equipment.
• Proficient in leading teams, scoping, scheduling, budgeting/forecasting and documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large portfolio of complex projects across pipeline, facility and plant operations.
• Define project scope, objectives and ROI; prepare charters and funding estimates.
• Lead cross‑functional teams while ensuring safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
• Oversee design, procurement and construction activities including vendor selection and contracts.
• Track budgets, schedules and performance metrics; ensure closeout procedures.
• Mentor and liaison with external agencies; support PMO improvements.
• Handle 10+ projects concurrently.

Job description

Location: Onsite 4 days a week at one of the following locations (Dallas TX, Artesia NM, Midland TX, Tulsa OK, Salt Lake City UT, Casper WY)

• Travel - 25% of the time in the markets listed above

Duration: 12+ month contract (potential to convert or extend)

PR: $65-72/hr

Hours: 8am - 5pm

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years in Project Management experience
• 3 years of midstream industry experience
• Need to have experience in Multidiscipline projects . Experience across a broad range of project types including pipeline and terminal mechanical, piping, electrical, integrity, rotating equipment.
• Proficient in leading teams & communication, project scoping, scheduling, financial accounting and forecasting, documentation control, etc. (ideally wanting more of a technical PM)
• Proficient within Microsoft office, excel and SAP

Plusses:

• Midstream and Liquids experience
• Lease/producer well connection experience
• Pipeline integrity or electrical project experience

Day to day:

Working independently, simultaneously manage multiple Capital and Expense type Projects in the $100K - $5MM range from conception to completion. Works on projects to improve plant profitability, safety, and reliability and provides plant support for the continued reliable operation of existing and new equipment. Acting as development and support resource for less experienced Project Managers. Supporting the Manager of Projects in PMO development and excellence initiatives.

• Tracks budgets, schedules, and performance metrics, and ensures proper documentation and closeout procedures.
• Acts as a mentor and liaison with external agencies, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.
• Will not have any direct reports. Managing individuals on project.
• Need to be comfortable handling 10+ projects at a time
