Job summary

State of Indiana is seeking a Manager, Capital Programs to lead day-to-day operations of capital programs within the Entrepreneurship and Small Business team. The role supports SSBCI, direct investment, capital access, and related tax credit programs.

The position offers a salary range of $63,787–$66,000 and requires 2–3 years of related experience, with a focus on finance, program management, and partnership development. Strong collaboration with senior leaders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, entrepreneurship, or other directly related field.
• JD, MBA, or other advanced business degree, MPA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Economic Development credentials such as CEcD or DFCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing capital programming in alignment with team goals and priorities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of capital programming including financial and data management.
• Advise VP of Venture Finance on programming, management, and policy matters.
• Manage grant proposals, including narrative and budget, and report on programs and initiatives.
• Develop and implement operational processes and documentation for the Capital team.

Education
