Base pay range

$157,800.00/yr - $236,700.00/yr

Become a Capital Portfolio Senior Project Manager at SCE and help build a better tomorrow. You will be part of System Planning & Engineering (SPE), focusing on anticipating customer needs, innovating through engineering and data, and transforming grid performance with our partners.

As a Capital Portfolio Development Project Manager within Portfolio Management, you will develop strategies to increase visibility of future work and enable robust portfolio management optimization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide project support such as cost estimating, scheduling, claim analysis, and reporting on project health.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control and assurance standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in project control processes.
  • Oversee project oversight, control, and value improvement practices.
  • Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and tools to monitor project progress.
  • Assist management with organizational and administrative activities, including cost engineering and scheduling guidance.
  • Ensure all cost and schedule functions adhere to procedures and best practices.
  • Provide technical direction, training, and supervision to project controls personnel.
  • Recommend process improvements related to change control and governance.
  • Monitor project performance and ensure proper implementation of project control systems.
  • Protect company assets and manage sensitive data with high standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ten or more years of experience in project management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, or related fields.
  • Experience with Electric Utility Transmission & Distribution systems, Electric System Planning, or Power Generation.
  • Experience with organizational change management from business process implementation.
  • Experience in resource capacity analysis/planning or finance.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
Additional Information
  • This position is hybrid; reporting to an SCE facility with remote work options. Residency in California is required.
