Job summary

Sterling Engineering seeks a Sr Project Manager to lead capital packaging projects from planning through commissioning in Cincinnati, OH. You will own scope, budgets, schedules, and vendor management, coordinating engineering, manufacturing and contractors to bring packaging lines from concept to production.

Qualifications include 10+ years in pharmaceutical/food/bev or medical device packaging project management, GMP knowledge, and experience with packaging equipment installations and line

Qualifications

• 10+ years of U.S. experience managing capital projects in pharmaceutical manufacturing, Food and beverage manufacturing or medical device manufacturing.
• Direct experience with packaging equipment installations, upgrades, or packaging line integration.
• Demonstrated ownership of project budgets, schedules, vendors, and execution.
• Working knowledge of GMP requirements, equipment qualification, and change control.
• Ability to coordinate technical teams, contractors, and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Engineering degree or related technical background preferred; PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of capital packaging projects from planning and engineering through installation, commissioning, qualification and turnover.
• Own project scope, budgets, schedules, vendors and overall execution.
• Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, contractors and packaging operations.
• Ensure GMP compliance and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
