Job summary

Moelis & Company’s Capital Markets Group seeks a Vice President to structure and execute customized financing solutions across debt and equity. You will lead financial modeling, prepare client and investor materials, and coordinate with investors, lenders, and senior bankers to drive transactions from mandate through closing.

The role demands intellectual curiosity, strong judgment, and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of investment banking (capital markets, leveraged finance, debt or equity capital markets, corporate finance, or M&A) or equivalent buy-side/credit role.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, and capital markets.
• Strong ability to work under tight deadlines in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal teams, clients, investors and external parties.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Bloomberg/CapIQ/Dealogic.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain models to assess debt capacity, leverage, liquidity, and downside scenarios; evaluate financing alternatives across debt and equity products.
• Prepare investor and lender materials, manage marketing processes, coordinate with investors, oversee data rooms and Q&A, draft and maintain timelines.
• Deal coordination across clients, investors/lenders, senior bankers, legal counsel; manage timelines through closing.
• Direct and review Analyst work, ensuring high-quality output and effective stakeholder interaction.
• Provide market insight and client advice on debt and equity conditions and transactions.
