Job summary

GAC Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Capital Markets in Charlotte, NC. The role is a full-time, hybrid position with 2-3 days per week on-site and final rounds in-person.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable Capital Markets solutions using C#/.NET and/or C++. You will collaborate with business users and analysts, contribute to architecture, and help drive the technology roadmap while maintaining security and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years in scalable, high-availability enterprise applications.
• 5+ years building data processing, APIs, messaging, and DB integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; production issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Capital Markets software solutions.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability of mission-critical applications.
• Collaborate with users and analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture and design of in-house and external applications.
• Develop high-quality software using C#/.NET and/or C++.
• Work with data processing, messaging, and integration solutions.
• Share knowledge and guidance within the development team.
• Define technical vision and roadmap for Capital Markets applications.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues independently.
• Adhere to coding, architecture, and security standards.
