Job Title

Capital Markets Senior Financial Analyst (Multifamily)

Job Description Summary

The Capital Markets Senior Financial Analyst (CMFA) will support transactions generated by Cushman & Wakefield's Capital Markets brokerage services, focusing on multifamily valuation analyses. Senior Analysts will perform complex financial activities such as pricing, Excel valuation model creation, due diligence review, and translating analysis findings into high-level summaries for brokers.

The ideal candidate will be based in Charlotte or Dallas and available to work on-site. A hybrid schedule is available. Team members may need to travel and work outside normal hours depending on project needs.

Essential Duties

1. Lead execution of complex financial analysis/modeling requests, including project management on high-value opportunities
2. Prepare pro forma statements, discounted cash flow analyses, and financial models considering market conditions
3. Audit financial models for accuracy and assumptions, identifying data gaps
4. Conduct market research and synthesize findings clearly
5. Communicate with Brokers to confirm scope, review findings, and make revisions
6. Identify missing information or unclear requests for accurate analysis
7. Develop high-level summaries highlighting transaction considerations, trends, and inconsistencies
8. Mentor junior Analysts and support their development
9. Contribute to training resources for Analyst growth
10. Perform quality control reviews to ensure thoroughness and scope compliance
11. Track real estate fundamentals and industry trends
12. Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the team
13. Perform other related duties as needed

Other Requirements & Administrative Duties

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field preferred
• Experience with financial analysis and modeling (2-5 years), Capital Markets experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of real estate financial concepts
• Experience with multifamily underwriting; knowledge of student housing/self-storage is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Commitment to high-quality client delivery, meeting deadlines, and exceeding expectations
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and attention to detail skills
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Proactive and growth-oriented mindset
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
