Job summary

Fenwick & West seeks a mid-senior corporate associate with four to six years of experience advising public companies or investment banks for its Capital Markets and Public Companies group. The role can be based in one of several offices, including Washington, DC.

You will advise on SEC compliance, governance, and exchange matters, and participate in IPOs, SPACs, direct listings, and follow-ons. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of corporate associate experience.
• Experience advising public companies on SEC disclosure and governance.
• Bar admission in the state of the office or eligibility to sit the next bar exam.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise public companies or underwriters on capital markets transactions including IPOs, SPACs, direct listings and follow-ons.
• Counsel on governance, disclosure, and SEC compliance for capital markets matters.
