Job summary

AmeriHome Mortgage Company, LLC is seeking a Capital Markets Operations Analyst in CA to support post-trade processes for MBS, whole loan sales, and related hedging activities. You will ensure accurate trade capture, pooling, settlement, and reconciliation while maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Traders, Financial Engineering, Accounting, agency counterparts, and custodians to ensure timely execution across the trade lifecycle, including

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in capital markets or mortgage operations.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry including Correspondent or Retail Lending.
• Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations.

Responsibilities

• Aggregate and pool eligible loans into GNMA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac securities according to agency guidelines.
• Own post-trade processing for MBS, mortgage derivatives, and whole loan transactions, including trade capture validation, position management, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Prepare, validate, and submit pool and delivery data to agencies and custodians.
• Maintain accurate loan and security position records and investigate data breaks, settlement fails, and other operational discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, documentation standards, and internal audit requirements.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve exceptions and improve operational processes.
• Support securitization data preparation by monitoring data quality, completeness, and lineage.
• Support margin/collateral processes as needed with counterparties and internal teams.
