Job summary

First National Bank invites students to join our Capital Markets internship, offering exposure to Loan Syndications, Interest Rate Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Public Finance Underwriting, and Debt Capital Markets on the trading floor.

As an intern you will shadow professionals, assist in preparing client pitchbooks, work on projects with multiple teams, use Bloomberg data, and participate in events and trainings. At summer's end, there is a potential interview for our development program.

Qualifications

• Needs to be officially enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program in Finance, Accounting, Marketing or Information Technology
• Minimum Education: High School or GED
• Minimum Years Experience: 0

Responsibilities

• Shadow Derivatives and FX sales professionals on their weekly activities.
• Help prepare pitchbooks for actual client presentations.
• Work on various projects with Syndications, Derivatives, Debt Capital Markets, FX, and Public Finance Underwriting teams.
• Use the Bloomberg terminal for research and presentation data.
• Assist in preparation of write-ups for various economic events and news.
• Participate in FNB events/trainings scheduled for all Summer Interns.
