Job summary

Skilzmatrix is seeking a visionary Data Architect to lead the design, development, and modernization of complex data ecosystems in Capital Markets and Asset Management. You will bridge legacy IBM DataStage ETL with cloud analytics on Azure and Databricks, while guiding data engineering teams and collaborating with Java and React teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of IT experience, 4+ years in data architecture, and deep expertise in MDM, data modeling, and security.

Qualifications

10+ years IT experience with at least 4+ years as Data Architect.
Deep knowledge of Capital Markets and Asset Management.
Hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks analytics.
Experience modernizing legacy IBM DataStage ETL workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data architectures for Capital Markets and Asset Management.
Lead cloud modernization using Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
Architect ETL/ELT pipelines and migrate DataStage workflows to cloud.
Define and implement enterprise Master Data Management strategies.
Collaborate with software teams to ensure data models align with Java microservices and React UIs.
Translate business needs into technical blueprints for data solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to data engineers and analysts.
