Job summary

BRG seeks a Consultant or Managing Consultant to support and oversee engagement workstreams in capital markets regulatory compliance, risk management, and client advisory projects. The role involves direct client interaction, supervising staff, and contributing to the growth of a new capital markets practice within BRG.

Candidates should have 4+ years in regulatory or risk roles, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, supervision, or risk management.
• Preferred focus on broker-dealers, investment advisers, asset or wealth management firms, swap dealers, or other capital markets.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with ability to prepare analyses and presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of guiding junior staff and collaborating in a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute financial institution advisory projects related to regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Plan and manage client engagements, supervise staff, and deliver client-ready outputs.
• Develop and implement risk-management frameworks and methodologies within engagements.
• Lead business development activities, including proposals and client presentations.
