Job summary

State Street Corporation in Boston is seeking a Capital Management analyst to drive meaningful analysis around capital planning practices within Global Treasury. You will collaborate with the Recovery and Resolution Planning office and support capital net investment hedging and distributions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with strong quantitative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; analytical mindset.
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Recovery and Resolution Planning office and drive methodology and production of RRP framework issues related to capital (RCAP and RCEN) for both our Resolution Plans and Recovery Plans
  • Support State Street’s capital net investment hedging program
  • Support Global Capital Management activities, including coordinating with international colleagues on capital distributions and contributions
  • Support management of State Street’s Parent Company Liquidity position, including our debt issuance strategy
  • Support analysis of Capital Planning efforts more broadly

Who we are looking for The Capital Management team at State Street is looking for a highly motivated individual to drive meaningful analysis around key Capital Planning practices. Individual should have strong analytical skills and a desire to learn and grow with a fast-paced team within Global Treasury.

What you will be responsible for
  • Collaborate with the Recovery and Resolution Planning office and drive methodology and production of RRP framework issues related to capital (e.g., Resolution Capital Adequacy and Positioning (RCAP) and Resolution Capital Execution Need (RCEN)) for both our Resolution Plans and Recovery Plans
  • Support State Street’s capital net investment hedging program
  • Support Global Capital Management activities, including coordinating with international colleagues on capital distributions and contributions
  • Support management of State Street’s Parent Company Liquidity position, including our debt issuance strategy
  • Support analysis of Capital Planning efforts more broadly

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Advanced degree or degree in the field of Finance, Accounting or Economics a plus.
Salary Range

Salary Range: $65,000 - $113,750 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
